In a former life, I taught Greek and Roman history at the University of Queensland, which mostly consisted of doing my best minotaur impression for students on request.
Nowadays I’m a Brisbane-based fantasy author. My most recent book is World Breaker, kicking off the Kingdoms of Grimm saga, and working on the Arthurian Chronicles. I’m also working with artist Andrew Law on the Slayhemn comic book series. Previously novels include The Way Home, The Ivory Gate and The Seven Hills as well as the Viking inspired Tooth and Blade.
I also edit fiction freelance and teach creative writing part-time at Signum University.
